Dr Nirali Chokshi

Dr Nirali Chokshi is an Australian-trained Consultant Cardiologist with experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and long-term management of cardiovascular disease across a wide range of clinical presentations.

She completed her medical degree from Bond University, followed by internship training at Nepean Hospital and Basic Physician Training at Liverpool Hospital. Dr Chokshi completed her Advanced Cardiology Training at Nepean Hospital, where she developed strong expertise in complex diagnostic evaluation, risk stratification, and comprehensive cardiac care.

Dr Chokshi has a strong academic background and is the primary author of a published research paper titled “A Systematic Review of Frailty Scores Used in Heart Failure Patients”. Her academic work supports a high standard of clinical judgement and evidence-informed practice.

She consults in Penrith and Bella Vista, working closely with referring doctors to ensure coordinated and timely specialist care.

Dr Nirali Chokshi provides comprehensive, evidence-based cardiology care focused on accurate diagnosis, thoughtful medical management, and long-term heart health.

Her practice includes:

  • Evaluation of cardiac symptoms including chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations and syncope

  • Diagnosis and medical management of coronary artery disease, including angina and post-infarction care

  • Medical management of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias

  • Heart failure care and structural heart disease monitoring, including valvular disease surveillance

  • Cardiovascular risk assessment and prevention, including hypertension and lipid management

  • Coordination of care with interventional and electrophysiology colleagues when procedural treatment is required
